  • Re: Lose Weight by Eating Anything You Want

You'll find many foodie people who are thin and healthy. The way they do it is eating in moderation and making up for it in exercise. Those two hand in hand are the recipe for successful weight maintenance. I eat what I want for the most part, but then I rarely crave junk foods, and I stay thin. I make up for it in exercise everyday.

  • Re: Wynona Judd promoting Alli

Alli is a weight loss pill that is supposed to help those that have only 10 to 20 pounds to lose. It's supposed to flush out the fats you eat. And the side effects are gross to say the least. Your stools are going to be runny because of the fats that are flushed out. I have heard you should carry an extra pair of underwear with you wherever ...

  • Re: To get married or just live together?

Why rock the boat? If things are sailing along smoothly you probably might want to reconsider anything that could throw a wrench into the works. Personally I will more than likely never marry. So you might want to take what I say with a grain of salt. ;)

  • Re: Online Dating

The lasting effects of online dating are going to be the same as if you met someone in real life first. Once you're in a relationship with someone that person can screw up royally at a later date if they were the product of an online service or a product of a bar or grocery store or whatever. People's characters are going to the be same ...

  • Re: Morning or Evening?

I would say morning is best. It helps jump start you metabolism for the day which allows you to burn more calories over a longer period of time. Plus later in the day you may be tired from whatever you've been doing earlier and you may not have the energy to sustain a workout.

  • Re: Don't take 5, take 10

Very well said. Large goals are often harder to acheive because you get discouraged when it doesn't happen overnight. If you can break it down into percentages, like you've suggested, it makes it seem a lot easier to work towards.

  • Re: What is chemistry?

I define chemistry by how I feel when I'm not with a person that I'm dating. Do I think about them? Do I feel excited about seeing them? Do I keep thinking 'damn, if she was here then I could show her this'? If the answer is yes then I think there's chemistry between us. But it's not something you can really pinpoint and ...

  • Re: Change the Way You Think About...

Thank about your breathing and how it's affected by exercise. If you're less winded that's a good thing. Monitor your stamina based on how much further you can run or walk before really feeling tired. Check your belt loops. That's always a good one for me.

  • Re: Results!

In the world we live in, people want everything "yesterday" and are usually not willing to wait for things to happen. With weight loss or muscle building it doesn't happen overnight. But keeping track of your results will allow you to realize your achievements no matter how small. If you lose .5 inch off your waist, it's better ...

  • Re: Alcohol Calories

Even though I'm not a wine drinker, I think if you're watching your diet and want to have a drink red wine is your answer. The calories are not too bad, no worse than a soda. And you're getting the benefits of the wine for your heart. And yes, avoid anything like Kahlua because the cream causes it to be delicious but horrible for you.
