The Virtual Map application on HealthLife is really cool. You can actually map your runs, walks or hikes and it will give you your total distance. Here is how you start:
- First put in the location you are starting from in the top right hand box. Then click “Goto Location.” (City, State or Street Address)
- The map will zoom into the location that you entered. If this is not the exact area you are looking for, you can drag the map around with the cursor to find the location. Just click on the map and hold the mouse button to drag. You can also use the navigation on the top left of the map.
- Once you find your location, you can start your route by left clicking on the location where you want to start. A green button will show up on the screen.
- Now you can click in any direction you would like. You can make as many clicks along your route as you would like.
- At the bottom you will see the total distance of your route.
There are a lot of other features on this application, such as: Round Trip, Markers, Save the Map, Snap Course Points to the Road, Satellite view and more!
