    Married Or Dating?

I was just wondering how many people here are already married and how many are still in the dating game. I am still dating, but it is getting pretty serious, I imagine we will be married soon, but we have not tied the knot yet.

    How about everybody else?

I may as well be married as my partner and I have been together for around 11 years! I was married once before though and am reluctant to get into that scene again. We are happy as we are so why change?

I have been married for 10 years and we lived together for a year before that. We have two wonderful children together and I think being married is best for them because it gives them stability and no confusion over their surname!

I'm not married yet, but I have a boyfriend and we're having plans about getting married soon. We just have to settle things first.  We wouldn't let obstacles on our way to stop us from doing what we want though.

Wow, my partner read this and has just asked me to marry him. Now I am faced with a decision, should I or shouldn't I? This is going to be really difficult because I don't want to hurt his feelings but I think we are OK as we are. Oh, well, such is life!

We talking here about lifetime commitment.:) Do you honestly want to commit to that person for the rest of your life and are your reasons enough to keep you going for that long? I think getting married is a lot of fun and a lot of hard work too.

We lived together for years and even had our son without really worrying about it. We did eventually marry but we are now divorcing. It's quite amicable but we really are more like brother and sister so it's best, but I wonder what would have happened if we hadn't married?
